On Monday, April 17th, You CAN Corvallis will be presenting the first draft of our Climate Recovery Ordinance for consideration by the City Council. This ordinance aims to set City greenhouse gas reduction goals in line with the most up-to-date science; codify our climate action strategies, and create a Sustainability Advisory board to aid the City in implementing these strategies.
We strongly invite all supporters to show their support by attending the City Council meeting, which begins at 6:00pm at the Downtown Fire Station, 400 NW Harrison.
